This was one of the most fun dining experiences I’ve ever had. We shared the Bucintoro Menu. (We also got the fried tuna for a starter - didn’t need that much food but we really wanted to try it. Delicious!) Everything was excellent and it was a unique meal! We also tried a local white wine (Le Vie Angarano Brenta Breganze Vespaiolo) which paired well with the Bucintoro. We will absolutely be coming back if we’re in Venice again. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time.

Seafood lovers must visit this amazing restaurant. We did our best to finish the huge pot of delicious, fresh seafood… which had an amazing broth we can enjoy with pasta added when we made space. One of our best meals in Venice.

We were referred to this excellent former ghetto area restaurant in Venice due to it's strong wine list. We had some great wines in our couple of visits and the food was great as well.

Charming, delicious, maybe the only time in Venice we felt we were really eating with (mostly) locals. For starters, we had a platter with a wide selection of cichetti, followed by bigoli in salsa with translucent onions, polpo with a sweet sauce, delicious soft artichokes - all beautiful. Come with an appetite!

Absolutely superb authentic italian restaurant. This was recommended to us by a local Italian family friend and we trust his tastes. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent, with high quality ingredients, excellent service and a great atmosphere, slightly away from the busy main street. A reservation is generally required, but you might be lucky with a "walk in" visit. The pasta with shrimp is a "MUST". 10/10 recommended
